If you used your own recordings in the Exercise 2.4, then of course the length of those recordings and the speech and pause rates will be for you to work out. If you used the recordings above, then you should have worked out something like the following. The actual pause rate will depend on how many pauses you detected. Since deciding whether a short silence is a pause is a subjective measure, you may have different numbers of pauses from us. But you should find, unsurprisingly perhaps, that the read speech is far more "fluent" in terms of these measures than the spontaneous speech.
