restrictive relative
Clause that modifies a noun-phrase and defines which of a set of possible objects, people, etc. is being referred to by the noun phrase.

Example:
In the following, the relative clause (starting at who) delimits the set of men that is being referred to: Men who can multi-task are good at this. Contrast the non-restrictive relative (marked by commas), where it is understood that this refers to all women: Women, who can multi-task, are good at this.
